Weekly Photo Feature Contest: Water and Ice Theme

As our second photo contest comes to an end, it's time to begin our search for this week's newest photo feature!

The theme this week is a little harder to get, but we have the upmost confidence in all of you. This week we ask that you bundle up, in some areas, or simply get outside and take pictures of the lakeside or, better yet, if there is some ice along the lakes shore.

We love this time of year as it tends to yield the best photos. Snow, water, and ice combined make such great scenes, and we'd love to see what you find.

As we enter our third week of the photo feature contest, we hope the rules to enter are familiar, but in case they aren't, or you are new, here's the rundown on how to enter:

First, go out and get those pictures. We do ask that one photo is in horizontal mode (landscape) and at least get one other photo.

Second, come to our Facebook or Twitter pages and submit those photos by leaving the best one in the comments, and keep the others for uploading later, if you are the chosen winner. Also, please submit a short description of yourself to go along with the article.

Note: you have until 11:59pm CDT on November 16th, to submit your photos.

Third, you are done. A very simple process.

The winner of this contest will be featured November 18th on our website.

For folks in colder areas, stay warm while getting those photos.

We can't wait to see what pictures you take and good luck to all! Hopefully, none of you get wet.
