Megan Mulford

Broadcast Meteorologist
A little more about Megan...

Megan was born and raised in Springfield, IL. She was terrified of thunderstorms as a young child, but eventually she became fascinated with them. She graduated from Western Illinois University with a B.S. in Atmospheric Sciences. She then went on to receive her Masters from Plymouth State University in Applied Meteorology.

When you were young, what did you want to be? Well, when I was 6, I told my mom I wanted to be a grocery store cashier or a veterinarian. Around 10 years old, I decided I wanted to me a meteorologist even though at that time I was terrified of storms and tornadoes. I made my mom drive home in every tornado warning! Now I love thunderstorms!!
Favorite food? Defiantly fried chicken livers (dipped in A1 only) and waffle fries! I am a Midwest girl!
Proudest Moment? Graduation day and getting my diploma for both my Bachelors and Masters. Also, passing all my physics and calculus classes! That was a miracle.. no really!!
Describe your perfect day? Clothes shopping all day with unlimited money! That would be beyond amazing!
