A little more about Nicole...
When I was young, I wanted to be? Originally I wanted to be a medical doctor of some type; that lasted about a month. Then, one fateful day, my dad took me to see this little piece of cinema mastery called “Twister” and it was game over. I think my dad secretly wishes that I went the MD route...
Favorite sport to play and/or watch? I was never much of a sports kid. I was a competitive Irish Step Dancer for 15 years (think Riverdance), did Color Guard in high school… so I love to watch anything dance-related, Olympic gymnastics, ice skating/dancing, curling etc. For professional sports, I am a die-hard San Jose Sharks and San Fransisco Giants fan. Never got into football...
Proudest moment? I have a few, depending on what segment of life we are talking about… after high school I was brought back to coach the Color Guard team. My second year as coach I choreographed a routine to Josh Groban’s “Oceano”. I had an amazing group of kids that year, and the routine was well above their skill set, but they worked so hard and managed to win at regionals that year (division champions). The look on their faces when the announcer stated their score (“ugh there’s no way!!”) and then their name right after... was amazing!
Superpower you would want and why? I would fly. Think of all the money I would save on airfare!
Win the lottery... first thing you will buy? I am so boring... the first “purchase” would be to pay off my student loans. For the fun stuff, I would take my dad to Finland, as well as to Montreal to see the Canadians play in a Stanley Cup match-up (of course on home ice).
