US Weather Spotlight: 11-17-18

Today's weather across the US is looking to calm down quite a bit. After the NE got around a foot of snow and other parts saw ice, we believe it's time for a break.

The few weather events occurring today is in the early morning in Minnesota with some snow showers tapering off throughout the day. Also, to the west some heavier snowfall is expected as high pressure replaces a small low over Southern Montana. As that happens snowfall is possible until high pressure completely dominates.

Snowfall amounts in Southern Montana could reach around 1-2 inches, while Wyoming will see heavier amounts up to 7-9 inches in some parts, and others just close to 5 inches or so.

Quieter conditions from what we've seen this past few days are expected once that system fades.

Have a great Saturday!
