Low pressure system continues to move from the southeast early today to the Mid Atlantic states overnight producing rain and possible storms from the lower to mid Mississippi River Valley east into the southeastern states and north to the Ohio River Valley and Mid Atlantic regions.
Precipitation chances continue over some of the same areas in the Pacific Northwest in WA, northwest OR, northern ID, and northwest MT thanks to an upper ridge in place to the east that will help produce mild highs for early January across much of the country.
