Large storm system continues to head north and east into eastern Canada today with precipitation chances becoming more isolated in the northeast. Another weaker system moves into this same region with precipitation chances redeveloping Sunday night. Some light snow accumulations are possible mostly in the Appalachians.

A system affects northeast ND and northern MN east to the Great Lakes over the weekend producing light snow showers with mainly a dusting to an inch of accumulation potential.

A disturbance tracks from the central Rockies to the southeast over the weekend producing an inch of snow possibly in parts of northern CO, southwest NE, and western KS today and rain showers in parts of the southeast on Sunday.

Little change to the weather pattern in the Pacific Northwest as rain and snow chances continue through the weekend.
